Skype No Active Internet Connection?

So i have uninstalled and reinstalled Skype several times. I can log in and everything but when I go to find contacts or start a chat, Skype tells me that I have no active internet connection. But I am connected to the internet because I am currently using facebook chat and several other websites. I am confused as to why I cant connect to Skype yet can connect to the regular internet. Please help!

Answer:
go to tools in skype then options, skype wifi then enable skype wifi I don't know then!
