What are the best New Balance running shoes?

Where can I try New Balance running shoes in London?

  • I've been running for a few years now on and off. I'm a bit on the heavy side (15 stone) and a moderate to medium overpronator. Over the past few years I have worn Asics 2010s, Saucony Omni 8s, and currently have Brooks Adrenaline GTS10s. All of these have been OK but not spectacular. I really want to try the New Balance 1260s as have heard they are good for heavier runners. I just want to try them to see if I like them and also to see if I need their wider fitting shoes, but am struggling to find a decent stockist in London. I like to try them on a treadmill but am not too bothered about gait analysis as have had this done 3 times now and know what I need. Anyone know a decent stockist in London for New Balance 1260s?

Gave the other answer a thumbs down - so many reasons not to buy online, apart from the fact that you need to try the shoes on before you pay and if you are advised with the wrong pair you might be able to take them back - online and there are no returns when you wear them outside, and of course, online is killing your highstreet. So for running shoes, ignore online This might help: http://www.newbalance.co.uk/on/demandware.store/Sites-newbalance_uk-Site/en_GB/Stores-Find
