How do I even the skin tone of my legs?

How can I even out my skin tone?

  • My face is pret much acne free (thanks to an antibiotic) but I still find my skin to be quite unattractive. My skin tone, especially on my face and legs, is very blotchy. I have a few light spots due to a fading tan and scars speckle my skin. I was wondering how I could even out my skin tone all over my body. My face seems to suffer the worst. I have small scars from past acne that aren't big, but definitely cause a very blotchy effect. I also get patches of extremely dry skin by the corner of my mouth due to toothpaste. My torso is different, yet the same. I have a small patch of dry skin directly on my right pelvic bone. I'm pretty sure that this is from irritation from my panties, but I am not sure. Also, I have problems between my breasts. I play a few sports, so I am in a sports bra nearly every day. This causes my breasts to be smushed together, which occasionally causes small pimples. This has led to dark, flat scars that I can't get rid of. The scars seem to slowly fade away, but I would really like to speed the fading up. Once again, I have a dry skin along the top of my breasts, obviously due to the top of my sports bra. Finally there are my legs, which mainly suffer from many childhood scars. I also have unusually dark and dry knees which seem to cause quite a problem with shorts. If anyone knows of at-home remedies or products that can help, that would be amazing! I would like to clear most of this up, especially around my breasts, by June. Thank you very much!

I definitely think that the use of products containing vitamin C will do you good. Vitamin C is a great skincare ingredient that helps to lighten dark spots and pigmentation. It is pricey, but I think using a face serum after toner and before moisturizer twice a day will do you good. Murad's Essential-C Serum is a fantastic option,a nd although it's pricey, it's definitely a 'worth-it' investment.

You could try scar diminishing oils and creams like bio-oil and just really good moisturiser like shea/cocoa butter for the top of the breasts. You can get laser treatment from hospitals (in the UK at least) for acne scars if they are bad enough. Foundation will even out your skin tone on your face, it doesn't have to be heavy looking either. You could try periodically wiping between your breasts after exercising as the build up of sweat could be causing the pimples, but over cleansing can do more harm than good. The irritation from your panties could be solved by trying some different materials to find what affects you and what doesn't. Hope this was at all helpful!

This is what a BB Cream is for. The Asian BB creams supposedly work the best, but I dunno. I heard Fade Out worked pretty well. You can get it for around $15 on Ebay/Amazon/ect.
