Just keep withthe mouthwash, or get some vodka or other spirit. Then just keep it in your mouth as long as you can. Taking the stud out will be the easiest answer though

My tongue never had yellow discharge, but I hear some people do. Stop using mouthwash because it could be causing the discoloration. Go get some natural sea salt and put one tablespoon into one liter of water and mix it. Call your piercer just to be sure it's okay and don't touch the barbell.

I would see your GP if I was in this situation. --------------------------------------… Niall Grindrod http://www.buddyweb.me/profile/?id=298

nononononononnoonNO you are NOT supposed to smoke after! No wonder your tounge is going yellow! Stop smoking for a few days at LEAST!

Sort of, I think its going all septic. But The smoking has nothing to do with it. Just clean that area with some....Savlon?.(or antiseptic stuff) Not sure, hasn't happened to me. sorry

yellow discharge is normal with any new piercing. my tongue was gross colors for almost a week after getting it done

It's a build up on plaque where your tongue usually cleans itself on the rook of your mouth but obviously can't because of the piercing... aslong as it's not green or anything you should be fine... just swill after every meal with sea salt and warm water, no fiddling or removing and when you brush your teeth try and brush the plaque off very gently :) Whoever said use mouthwas or vodka spirit is talking utter rubbish this will only irritate the piercing further it's far too strong for a fresh piercing stick to sea salt and warm water! :)
