How can I get tan quickly in the sun?

How do i get a light tan from tanning in the sun?

  • I was thinking of tanning, i never tanned before, the only time i got close to a tan is last summer, i was at the beach with my friends and i didn't put on sunscreen (dumb, i know) and was red and hurting for a week. Now i want a little tan, just a light tan cause im fair skinned, i don't want the dark tan, the bronze tan, etc. Just a light tan for the summer. How do i keep a light tan without it getting darker? How do i keep it from fading? and How do i keep from getting tan lines from my bathing suit? Don't say "Oh, just go to a tanning bed" cause i wont. Thanks

The only way to stop tan lines is if you're going to strip off haha! I'm not sure I understand fully, f you want a light tan, but not a dark one, then use a sunscreen! Preferably one that's about.. 30, depending on the temperature and how sunny it is. I wouldn't use higher than 50, or lower than 15 though, because over 50 will prevent you from tanning at all, and a 15 or lower will cause you too burn because you're fair skinned. Also, to keep it from fading, use after-sun lotion once you come in from the sun, it'll last longer:)
