Florida virtual school question?

  • To graduate high school, I need 24 credits. At the end of this year I will have 21, which means I'll only need 3 more. I'm currently a junior and have been thinking of taking my entire senior year online. The classes I need are English IV, Economics, Spanish II, Algebra II, and H.O.P.E. My question is, will I be able to take those classes online and still be able to get my high school diploma? (provided I pass them, of course) Will I be able to do finish a year class in one semester, or will I need to finish at the same time as people who actually attend school? Also, is it hard? I have plenty of motivation and getting a certain amount of hours in wouldn't be a problem. But is the work harder online than it is at a real school? Thanks in advance.

    Karianne: Are you a FL resident, or are you an out of state student planning on enrolling in FLVS as a homeschooler? If you live outside of FL, what state do you live in? If you are in FL, how are you planning on enrolling in FLVS (as a homeschooler or through your school systems virtual public school option)? If you can answer these question it will be a lot easier to answer you.

It depends on your past grades in highschool . And whether your guidance counsler is fond of you. It is possible to complete HS before the graduating class, just as one could complete his/her GED before others. You may want to consider dual enrollment for your empty classes. It's free college... And the classes aren't hard, just you sit there on your PC thinking of the ten million other thinks you could be doing
