Why I am unable to find my E mail on the screen?

When I go to compose an e-mail, I cannot find the option for font size, color, etc. It's gone from my screen.?

• I do not know what I did to change the options for sending e-mails.. but now I cannot find the drop down selection for font size, color for text, emoticons, etc. Please help.

  Since I use the Classic version of mail, the wording will be slightly different, but the results the same. The formatting bar does not show if you have selected Plain Text instead of full color and graphics Rich Text ... Click Options > Mail Options, and on the general page it shows an option for Mode ... Compose messages as colour and graphics [click this one and save changes] Compose messages as plain text In outgoing mail, if you do not see the formatting bar again look for the command for it above the message pane - it might also say full format rather than Rich text ...
