  • This is my third year of high school, but im still in 10th grade, the reason im still on 10th grade is because i took it twice, not couz i failed or anything its just that i moved and the new school told me that i have to 10th grade again couz of my age (16) now im going back to canada and i was wondering if they would let me go to 12th grade i do have most of my credits done. these are the credits i have done. Art x 3 Geography of Canada x 1 English x 4 Social Living x 2 World History x 1 Geometry x2 Algebra ll x 1 Physical Education x 1.5 Health x 2 Science x 1 Biology x 2 Chemistry x 1 Physics x 1 Computer x 1 extra: Library 0.5 First Aid 0.5 World Languages x 2 i still didnt do my SAT and im also planning to take AP classes since i didnt take any and what im planning to Major in is Arts. so when i move back to Canada will they let me just skip 11th grade? Thank you!

  • Answer:

Im not sure how things work over there, but here at Australia, theres no way for you to skip year 11, because the result that is used for university/college is the average result of year 11 or 12. So basically, we can't skip year 11. If things don't work this way over there, if you achieve good results, i reckon there will no problem for you to skip.
