How to calculate quartiles...?
-
Hi! I was just wondering how you calculate the quartiles, Q1 , Q2 and Q3 by hand? I think the questions give us like Q1 and Q3 then ask us to calculate the median (Q2) or give us the median and tell us to calculate the other two. We are only allowed a basic calculator in the exam I was wondering how I do this? D: Also we aren't giving any of the frequency values such as 0 0 0 0 1 2 3 4 5 5 5 so we can't calculate it that way :( THANKS <3

Answer:
Median=Q2= 2 Lower quartile (median of the lower half) = Q1 = 0 Upper quartile (median of the upper half)= Q3 = 5
