Does the DMV do their own driving test?

What do you do after you pass your driving test at the DMV? Do you take the paper to the DMV or what?

• Soo took my driving test maybe like earlier this month I forgot when. The driving instructed had a very thick accent so I had a hard time understanding him. Anyway the driving test ended and the driving instructed said I passed and said I'd get my license in the mail on the 26th but it hasn't came yet and I'm wondering if I had to take that paper to the DMV office or something! I'm nervous because I don't wanna take the test again so someone help me please?!
