Could any saxophone expert help me choose a sax?

Trombone or saxophone? SAX AND TROMBONE PLAYERS HELP!!!!?

• Well, I play a flute, and I would like to learn a new instrument but I can't make up my mind whether to play a trombone or a sax, I know that a sax would be easier since I already play a flute, but I have a problem with my fingers, I can't play fast no matter what I try any exercise, even if I play first slow I can go to a certain speed and no faster, any ways that's not the topic of the question. I thought that a trombone would be better since you play it with your arm not your fingers, so I would be able to gain speed. I want to play jazz and both instruments are good for it. Please help I can't make up my mind, also how long would I need to learn each instrument, what I mean is to learn to improvise, play sheet music.... Thanks!

  I'd say trombone. I mean, you've already learnt a flute which is a woodwind, why not give a brass instrument a try. As for the 'how long' question thingy- I suppose it all depends on your skill, how fast you are..
