Which should be used after messing up clustered index? Update statistics, Reindex or Reorganize?

• Please can someone help me out with data formatting and management? I’m trying to do the regression of panel data (data collected from the website of the World Bank database) with 10 countries (or states) over 8 years for one dependent variable (Yi) and 5 independent variables (Xi), but the raw data in Microsoft Excel are not arranged in the way SPSS (Statistics software) can read them and run the regression because the variables are put in first column, countries (states) are put in next column while the years are put in next 8 columns and all these columns have their corresponding data, but in this improper format the SPSS cannot read the data and run the regression. So, the proper format should be: countries (or states) in first column such as in column A, years in next column and one column only such as in column B (with 8 successive years for the first country, 8 successive years for the second country, and so on), the variable Y in next column such as in column C, and the variables Xs in next 5 columns such as in columns D, E, F, G, and H. So, please, help me out about how to rearrange and put the data in MS Excel in the proper format described above with step-by-step instructions. I did some search and I found out that INDEX/MATCH formula for Excel can be used but I don’t understand how to use this formula. So, please explain your answer, formulas, and instructions, and if possible, use the letters columns such as column A, B, C, … used above to describe this question so that I can better understand your explanation Thanks for sharing your insight and knowledge
