What does a School Secretary do?

Is this middle school student council secretary speech good?

• Hi! I’m Caroline Hunter. I will be an upcoming eighth grader, and I’m running for secretary. I think that a successful secretary has to be organized and responsible. I always like to be organized in my school notes. I am also able to be involved in several different activities, both in and out of school. I will always attend the meetings so I can provide Mrs. Roney and the middle school with updated schedules and activities. Many of you have enjoyed student council traditions such as tailgating in the past. I would like to continue these traditions, but try to add new things like a middle school talent show. I want to be your student council secretary next year because I would make middle school more fun and enjoyable for everyone. I am ready to take the responsibility of representing DCA through student council. So if you would, vote me, Caroline Hunter, as secretary of student council!! it has to be 2 minutes long and mine is only 52 seconds!!!!! i try to go superrrr slow but it doesn't work out that well. any suggestions of things i can add to make people want to vote for me?? i really want this super bad.. thanks for your answers!!!   It's a really good speech! But to make it longer, try talking about the things you've already done for the school ! :)
