What was this commercial advertising for?

Commercial advertising. Geico commercial. Please help?

Why do you believe this commercial to be effective in brand name recognition? What are the persuasive techniques being used? How are ethical standards met (or pushed to their limits)?

  • Answer:

The target group would be pregnant people, definitley, and babies. The commercial is appealing because suddenly you people are asking a pregnant woman to taste car insurance. I dont know how to answer that.... im not einstein. The baby's palates are sensitive and taste the great geico juice. Therefore people would think Geico tastes good... Yes i do find this a bit offensive. You are commercializing a pregnant african american woman. Put the pieces together. I dont want to type it. I do think you should name the leading competitor because it can be ANY insurance making it a bit unbelievable. not in a good way. Cute commercial though.... i guess...
