What is the best way to study?

  • Hey, I was wondering what is the best way to study before the CST's? California State Testing. For me it is like, hmm, I think next week and I was wondering if there is a method to a way I could do a quick study for it? I really hope to get Proficient for 8th grade. Thanks a bunch! :)

    Well I am currently asking the same question. Basically read it to yourself over and over and over then cover it and see if it works. Also you can take practice tests and they will help you. Additionally, just find a way to make it fun (ex- give yourself an MMS each time you get a question right...) Good Luck! Right there with ya!

there is no way anyone can say you how to study. just keep in mind not to study day and night and feel dizzy in the exam, just study the book at lest three times and you are done. and best of luck

Yeah, I'm in 7th grade and I got a 600 in math and a 520 in language arts in 6th grade. (Sorry for bragging. I'm just really proud of my scores.) What I do is boost my confidence before the STAR test. I think, "I'm really smart, I studied my head off, just think of those poor SUCKERS who didn't do anything!" Seriously, that really brings your confidence up. (You get really high scores with good confidence.) About studying.......... I read the bold terms in my book and think of fancy ways to memorize them with my friends. I organize a study group before the CST, go to the library, and study with them. (A study group DOES NOT mean chatting, gossiping, and discussing about clothes.) I hope this helps! :)
