How come my yahoo avatar won't show up on my yahoo answers profile?

So I am trying to join yahoo answers and I have created an account but for some weird reason my yahoo avatar won't show up on my yahoo answers profile. Everytime I try to use my yahoo avatar as my profile picture it would let me select my avatar but when I click save changes or submit it just stays the same and doesn't use my yahoo avatar as my profile picture. Why is it doing that ??

You have hidden your profile & you can't get a picture till you uncheck that option.

It's because you haven't logged out the Yahoo account that you were logged into when you made the changes to your avatar, even though you told the system to save the changes to your avatar. You have to log-out wait a few seconds, and then log back in to the Same Yahoo/YA account for the avatar to changes to take effect. If that does NOT fix the problem, please post another question. I hope this solves your problem. Computers and computer networks are very logical and very dumb at the same time.
