How to reset MAC OS X admin password?
-
Hello! I have been having trouble with my MAC OS X (version 10.5.8) admin password. I even made my hint the actual password, and it still says that I have an invalid password. Is there some way that I can reset my admin password using the installation disk, without potentially erasing all of my files and information? Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated...THANK YOU!

Answer:
Insert the install disk, restart holding down the "c" key. One of the options that pops up is to reset your admin password.
