How long will it take to grow my hair out?
-
this past summer i cut my hair to a little bit below my shoulders because the chlorine killed the ends of my hair. (im not getting my hair wet as much when i go swimming this summer) my hair was 2 inches below my boobs. i really wanted my hair to grow out long but i HAD to cut it or it wouldnt grow at all! now my hair is at the start of my boob. i really want my hair to be like 2 or 3 inches above my waist because i think its really pretty & i also love long hair! so basically here are my questions: 1) how long do you think it will take for my hair to grow out to where i want it? 2) how often and how much should i get my hair cut? 3) what shampoo & conditioners should i use? 4) where do you think my hair will be at by the end of the summer? (late august early september) 5) i normally either straighten my hair, put it in a bun, or put it in a ponytail. do these hairstyles hurt my hair? will braids hurt my hair? 6) do the hair, skin, & nails vitamins actually help? 7) if they do help, will it matter if i take say 2 different brands of those pills at the same time, will it be doubled the help? thank you guys sooo much! & if you have ANY kind of information about hair & how to treat it, PLEASE SHARE!

Answer:
1. about 8 - 12 months 2. about every 4-6 months, depending on a. split ends b. how much hair you have c. how clean your hair is d. how often your straighten/blow dry/curl it 3. shampoo and conditioners are your choice 4. almost below your boob 5. a. straightening hair gives it split ends b. change where you put your pony tail, the tightness could weaken hair c. same as b d. braids are fine, same as b if there is a pony touching your head **recommendation - use a scrunchy** 6. nothing will fix split ends, but heat protectant and hair vitamins will make hair stronger, and skin and nail vitamins work, too 7. ask a doctor or a pharmacist before you take any vitamins hair grows about .5inches a month if it is healthy. cutting hair does NOT make it grow quicker. if you have split ends, cut them all off before they spread up your hair. take a break from straightening your hair, and try a braid for a couple weeks after a haircut. you will see a major difference. good luck!

1. If you take really good care of it then about 2 years if you want it that long(: 2. I only trim my hair every 6 months because I don't get many split ends. If you take good care of your hair you won't either. Your hair grows about half an inch a month and if u get it trimmed every month like some people do then your not gaining any length! I would recommend every 4-6 months(: 3. NON SULFATE!! I LOVE the l'oreal ever Creme shampoo and conditioner(: 4. If you take really good care if it will probably grow about 2-4 inches depending on how fast your hair grows. Your hair will probably around the middle of your boob or a little before there. 5. NEVER use heat on your hair! It really damage it! And a bun, braid, and ponytail are fine as long as your not using rubber bands abd your using elastics(: 6. I don't think they work but just take a multi vitamin and eat healthy(: I hope I helped!
1) At least 3 months. 2) Whenever you notice split ends, get your hair cut to preserve its health. 3) Moisturizing shampoos and conditioners to keep your hair healthy if you want to grow it out. ( Daily shampooing actually hurts the hair) 4) Probably close to your desired length, depending on how fast your hair grows. 5) Styling with heat will damage your hair unless you use some protecting spray or other solution. Braids and buns do not damage the hair. Good luck!
1) Depending on how you care for it, it could take until the end of Summer maybe. I grew mine out at this time like last year, it was your length and I got it to the middle of my stomach. 2) Every like 6 weeks. It keeps it healthy and gets rid of split ends. 3) It doesn't really matter what kind you use. Wash your hair every other day rather than everyday, because then the natural oils will keep it healthy. But if you have really fine hair that gets greasy.. Well then I guess you have to wash your hair every day. 4) Maybe about in the middle of your back. Like, below your boobs maybe. 5) Straighteners are not the best choice. And as for putting your hair up and using ponytail holders, I heard that it's not that good for your hair. But if you're going to go swimming or something. I would put your hair in a bun so that it doesn't get damaged. 6) I've never heard of that. 7) Sorry I can't help you on that.. But there are other things that you can do. - Rub some olive oil on your scalp at night and wash it out REALLY well in the morning. Don't use to much olive oil. - Rub your scalp often. Like when you're watching t.v or something. - I heard that putting your head upside down helps or something? Like sitting on the edge of your bed with your head hanging off?? But I really don't know about that. Good luck! Long hair is beautiful (:
a few months.
heyy! haha i am in the same situation as you :) 1) I 've read that hair grows at a rate of 1 cm per month so from that you can work out how long it will take to reach your desired length by just measuring from where it is to where you want it to be. 2) I look after my hair very well, i dont straighten it and i use natural chemical free products to keep it healthy, and as i am growing it i dont want to cut it too regularly or it will never get any longer, so i would recommend maybe 2-3 times a year and it is only necessary to take a tiny bit off, like 1 cm. 3) To keep your hair healthy use natural products with minimum chemicals, the healthier your hair is the less you have to trim it :) 4) if your hair grows at the average rate (it might grow faster or slower tho) it will probably be around your armpit 5) you might want to cut down on straightening it but otherwise your hairstyles are fine 6) yes they do help! 7) no, if you take more than your body needs it will not be of any more help, i do not think it would be hurtful to your body, just a waste tho Hope i helped and when growing hair, i have learned you just have to be very patient! i know the rate my hair grows and i have worked out it will only be the length i want it in a year and a half! haha good luck xo
