What is the International Typographic style?

• I'm designing a catalog in the International Style (aka Swiss Style) which primarily uses grotesque typefaces such as Univers, Helvetica or Akzidenz Grotesk and I'm wondering what is a good typeface that will contrast with the ones I mentioned and that have the look and feel of that style.
