I want a good value for money printer, up to £50.. I would use it for university printing documents and photos.. I would also like one with a scanner.. What would be the best printer or the best brand ? Most importantly which are the ones to avoid ?

Answer:
It not just the printer you have to look at it the price of the cartridges as well, I bought a canon pixma MG5150 all in one printer for £49.98 about 8 months ago (it could be cheaper now) and the last time that I bought compatible cartridges for it I paid £7.89 for the 5 cartridges and it's all so a very good printer.

stop and think when you need to buy ink cartridges, doesn't really matter i find HP the best but if it plays up i throw it out and buy a new one the ink alone sucks in cost
