My Samsung TV wont work?

Why wont my Samsung 32in TV Work?

  • The red light on my tv started blinking and the screen flashes every few moments. There is no result to using the remote or the touch buttons on the TV. The TV seems to respond to the command but nothing happens. I have seen that a common answer on forums for this problem was that a capacitor(s) has blown and needs to be replaced. I took the TV apart and the capacitors look like new, nothing apparently wrong with the circuitry. I REALLY don't want to deal with trying to get the manufacturer to replace it. Any suggestions for home repair?

    Some repairs on HDTV's are somewhat expensive, and it might be better to just get a new TV.. By the way, Samsung is a top rated brand.. Guess your warranty has run out..? Most of these TV's can get an easy 60,000 hours of use with no problems..

More than likely it is the power circuit board on the tv that is broken. Manufacturer normally will not sell any consumers parts for the tv. They will only provide it to their authorized repair shop. This is a common issue with those low end model. More than likely it is not cost effective in repairing than just buying a new tv. Unless you have the technical background in repairing a tv then leave it to the professionals. Hope this will help you out.
