How to grow Pumpkin plants?

use quality soil, 5 gallon size container or larger would be best, they need full sunlight i would say at minimum 8 hours a day, there needs to be good drainage on the container and regular water every morning first thing .. my opinion is they also like a 'leaf-only' shower for a couple of minutes in the hottest part of the day .. try not to get them wet in the eve ... for container growing i would use a liquid fertilizer like Bonnie in the green jug ive seen it at ace hardware .. mix to instructions and soak the pot about every two weeks .. foliar feed once or twice a week in the morning several minutes before you actually water ..
