What is the right skateboard size for me?

What skateboard deck size is right for me.?

  • Hi, I am getting into skateboaring and I am not sure what deck size is right for me. Should I get a 7.5 or a 7.75. How long should the board be too. I am 5''2 andabout 100 pounds. Should get a board that i about 28 to 29 inches long cause I have a skateboard i bought from zumiez and its an almost but the guy never told me the deck size of it. I can ollie but it just feels like the board is too big for my feet and I think it might be a 7.75. Its an almost impact support deck. Btw my foot is a size 7. Thank you. Sorry but one more thing. Should I go to my local skateshop or zumiez. Thank you.

Wrong section dude, you put deck in the question which probably made yahoo answers think it was a deck of cards lol, anyway i think you should get the 7.5 because it's lighter and easier to do tricks. For your last question about the shop, you should visit your local skateshop first just to see how it is, and if you don't like it just go to zumiez. I prefer my local zumiez but that's just me.
