How to make white chocolate?

How can I make quick easy white chocolate icing/frosting?

  • I have the basics, white chocolate, butter, regular suger (but I learnt the other day, if I blend normal granulated suger it will get really fine like icing suger). So with these ingredients how can I make white chocolate icing/frosting. I don't have Greek yogurt or cream so it will have to just be with the above ingredients Thanks :) O yh and preferably something that can be done in under 30mins, no over night stuff

    Use equal quantities of chopped-up white chocolate and butter. Put in bowl and microwave for short 15 second bursts, stirring in between with a dry fork (water will make the chocolate seize/go lumpy). When the bowl feels hot, but touchable, take it out and keep stirring until chocolate is completely melted and combined. If it looks like it is splitting, keep stirring, as it cools down, the chocolate will combine with the butter to give you a glossy ganache. Use it on a cooled cake, otherwise it will run/melt if the cake is too warm. If you have cream, you can use that instead of butter, lighter texture/not as rich.
