Thank you for selecting Brooklyn College as a choice on the freshman admissions application. We have carefully reviewed your application and regret to inform you that your application does not meet our admissions criteria. To see our freshman admissions criteria, visit the freshman admissions page at: http://www.brooklyn.cuny.edu/web/admissions/freshmen/apply/requirements.php You may still be taking academic subjects in your senior year and would like to update your application with the grades from those courses, or you may feel that you can do better on the SAT/ACT exam and plan to retake it. If you have new information that you would like us to consider, please submit documentation (official high school transcript and/or SAT/ACT score report) along with a note stating your name and contact information explaining that you want your application re-reviewed. Submit this information as soon as possible, but no later than July 9, 2012. We wish you success in your educational endeavors. Sincerely, Brooklyn College Office of Undergraduate Admissions

it means your application will not be considered because you do not meet the minimum requirements needed to apply to this college. was your GPA too low? were your test scores too low? ask your college counselor if you dont know why you didnt qualify.

they want to see if you can improve your GPA by the end of senior year..

If your senior GPA raises your cumulative GPA and if you retake the SAT and screw higher, then re apply. I do not know if you could sign up for the next test date and get your results back in time

You don't meet their requirements. They are not even considering you for admission because your grades and/or test scores are not good enough. Look at the page that explains the admission requirements and see where you fall short. Then, IF you are able to meet their requirements, by earning better grades in academic subjects during your senior year and/or by getting better exam scores, and IF you are able to do that by July 9 (in other words, your exam scores have to be back by July 9 if you are going to depend on them and summer school only helps if you complete classes by July 9), you can try again. What you should do if you want to be considered again because you now meet the minimum requirements is to write them a letter with your name and contact information saying that you want to be reconsidered and send it along with an official transcript and/or score report that shows you have made up the deficiencies NO LATER than July 9.
