Hardship license help?

Trouble getting my Hardship license?? Please help!?

  • Hey everyone, I'm 17, about a month from turning 18, and have only got my learners license. I applied for my hardship a month or two ago, and I really need as I've been bumming off my friends for the past month getting to class and walmart and wherever I need to go because I cant drive yet, and my parents cant take me. Now this lady at the DMV has rescheduled, not exaggerating, over 12 appointments. She apparently doesnt do the drivers tests anymore and is sending people to the next cities DMV to take them, however she said she would do mine. Now, she has put me off for over a month and a half now and I DESPERATELY need my license to get to class!! Is there anything I can do to make her test me? What about the no child left behind act? I live outside the bus route, so I meet all qualifications for a hardship. My mom is saying that we cant get the hardship from a different county because it has to be the same county, im not sure how true that is however. Any advice would be great, thanks
