What is the name of this NES game?

• Okay I'm going to try to explain this the best I can remember/can, so if I'm hard to understand please forgive me. I used to play this NES game that I haven't played in a long time, at my grandparents house every holiday with my cousins & it's driving me nuts that I can't remember it anymore. I'm going to throw in some key words here then describe it. -magic, dragons/lizards, battle, knights, wizard, ogres, 1 or 2 player can't remember, food/coin, trade, At the beginning you start off with a castle with a ball of light/energy above.......you choose between 4 different characters, 3 men/1woman, ......when it gets to where the computer is 'battling" you go to a screen that has obstacles like trees, bushes, logs, water, etc. & you can only move a maximum of 3 spaces depending on which character you move. you choose one supernatural creature from being a wizard, witch, dragon/lizard, ogre, etc. You try to take over as much land as possible. As soon as someone mentions it, it should be like a light bulb. I'm hoping someone can help me with this. Thanks in advance!!
