Science experiments for high school students?

I need some REALLY good science experiments for school?

• Next week we need to start a 1 month science fair project and I need a really good topic. I've got books from the library and searched the internet but all of them are not good enough because our school wants this to be this best NZ can do (our school is REALLY strict on this homework project). If any of us do any experiments too basic (like citrus fruit electricity) we will get a detention and have to do it again. So please give me good experiments. Thanks for your answers in advance.
