What career best fits this description?

  • Hello, So, I'm going to college next year and I'm striving for a CPA degree...but I'm not exactly sure if I would want to be an accountant for the rest of my life (maybe, i'll just be an accountant for the first few years after college). Which career choice will I be able to "switch" to while having a CPA degree? My dream career involves: -Traveling -Reasonable Salary -Being in demand -Being different everyday, not exactly an office job Just suggest any career that comes to your mind after reading this post. Thank you!

    Unfortunately I don't know much about jobs that require a CPA. But I have met a commodities trader, who travels VERY frequently (overseas around 2 days a week). And I think they also earn quite a bit. I am studying B Business and Commerce (Key program applied finance)/B Laws in Australia, and in our first year we had units from various key programs which gave me a vague indication what the different types of work were like. I was thinking the same thing for accountancy, however because of it's wider applications chose to do finance instead.
