How long is a typical call back for a job?

How long does it take for a job to call you back after you've put in an applicatoin online?

• I applied for a job at starbucks online. Should I call them? How long will they take to call me back? And what can I do to better my chances of being hired? This would be my first job.

  Unless they really need somebody they're not gonna call you, you have to call them and then they'll say they'll look at your application and then you have to keep calling just to be told the same thing they told you the first time you called and if you keep callin em then you might get the job, that's how it is where I live. Also having work experience can better your chances of getting a job but since this will be your first job I'm sure you won't have any work experience so it's gonna be difficult getting a job, thats how it was with me, nobody wanted to hire me caus I had no work experience
