How can I get the tumblr URL I want? ?

So I want to change my URL on tumblr and I thought of a perfect one that I really wanted to use, but of course it was taken. I tried different variations of the name like using - between the letters but still not available. SO I went on the blog that was using the name I wanted and they havent posted ANYTHING. it's just like a blank blog? And if no ones using it I should be able to right? Does anyone know anyway I could somehow get that URL? I am not able to message the person. also follow me :) boohoo-sadstory.tumblr.com

You can't. It's taken. Think of something else. You can't guarantee that this user isn't going to start their blog up at some point, although it may seem highly unlikely. I know users who have had their tumblrs for over a year before posting anything to them. Those same people now have thousands of followers.
