When does Google page ranking come out?

How come when I google something and I click the link it directs me to another page?

  • I have no idea why it does this. I was on google searching for ideas and things im writing for my anime im creating. When I click on the links google shows on its page it opens up another window but its a totally different site than what im trying to get to. So im like okay, let me try something else. So I started searching random things like Someone like you lyrics by Adele or funny quotes or whatever through google and it STILL redirects me to another page other than the one im trying to get to. Can anyone tell me why this is? It recently started doing this about 3 days ago. I have no idea whats going on or how to fix it Dx

    You have spyware on your computer. Download "malwarebytes anti malware" and install it. Update it and run a virus scan. Also, google how to remove or unistall certain toolbars and addons. This should do it. Also, clear your history.

You probably downloaded some program that is messing with your web browsing. My brother's laptop does this all the time now.

Sounds like you're the victim of browser "hijacking". A virus or some other malicious program will set your browser to "re-direct" away from the page you're trying to see. Does it take you to sites that are either trying to sell you something or to porn sites? You'll have to scan your computer for possible viruses or spyware and get rid of anything found. It's my opinion that Microsoft's free Microsoft Security Essentials is one of the very best anti-virus/spyware programs out there right now (as of 29 Apr 2012). Forget Norton's and McAfee. Just Google "MSE" and click the top-most result or click here to go directly to their download site: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows/products/security-essentials Click on the blue "Free Download" button.
