Android phone Google setup not working w/existing Google account... HELP?
-
OK I recently bought the Samsung Galaxy S 2 Skyrocket smartphone, However I'm having an issue setting up my existing Google account on it.... I even changed my password to see if that would help but it didn't at all!! I've tried adding my existing Google account and even went to like Settings, accounts and sync but with everything I try it ALWAYS SAYS "USER ID/PASSWORD DO NOT MATCH" What is going on??? Any help from Android users would be greatly appreciated!! And don't tell me to go back to the store, I'd love any help I can get here to fix it myself... What's going on? How can I get it working so I can actually do things on my cell?? LOL

Answer:
You should be able to log in without any issues. If you are facing any issues with log in, make sure 2step verification is not enabled on your Google account. it creates issues. there are apps in the market to sort it out though. if that's not the issue, then you may need to reset your android to factory settings. this issue does happen when you get a new phone but do not register it on the Google servers when you start using it. later when you try it does not log in. hope this works for you. Well bro never mind as i am asking you like this. I faced this problem that's why i'm asking. Did you buy a new cell or 2nd hand cell phone. If it is new then there supposed to be no problem at all. If it is old there should be an existing. So you need a Factory Reset and sync your Google account again. Hope it will work.

Google products including Gmail are native on Google Android phones. Tap on Menu and choose option of ‘Settings’. From the settings go to Account & Sync. in settings make sure your account is checked to auto sync. Try entering your gmail name without (@gmail.com) or with it and the Case-sensitive password with no space at end of password. If it still does not work, try a factory reset or take your phone back to the retailer for them to reset the factory settings.
