How long will it take for this to heal?

How long will it take my belly piercing to heal up?

• I got my belly button pierced 4 years ago and everything was fine at first, then not long ago it got infected, and then one day on the skin between the two piercing holes, like the skin on top of where the bar goes through, got a little scab on it, then the scab fell off and a hole appeared, so I had 3 holes including the piercing holes. Obviously I have taken the piercing out, but how long will it take to heal? I'm concerned about the hole in the middle, because there's hardly any skin left around it, and my mother pointed out that if it never heals, when I eventually get pregnant, the skin will split. So how long does it generally take to heal? Thanks.

  Honestly I'm not sure if it will heal. I heard that belly button piercings, after so many years of wearing one doesn't go back to normal. the hole will shrink a little but not close all of the way. But since the hole in the middle was recent, hopefully it will grow back together. I heard it takes anywhere from 3 months to a year. I hope it closes for you!
