How many piercings can you have healing at once?

Is it okay to get piercings when you've got ones healing already, and what about tattoos?

  • I just got a second set of ear piercings about a month ago and they don't bleed and they don't get irritated when I switch out studs, so I figure that means they're pretty much healed (I heal pretty fast). Now I'm wanting a third set, and I was wondering how long I should wait until I get that third set? On top of that, I'm getting my forearm tattooed in two weeks. Is there any reason I shouldn't get my next set of piercings while my tattoo is healing?

  • Answer:

none at all. its like if your getting three different cuts or scrapes. none of them are affecting the other. keep in mind that even though they dont get irritate they are not fully healed and regrown (the pircings) for an absolute min of 3 months on the ears so continue to be careful.

Nope! you can get them at the same time, but just remember to give them equal attention. In other words, don't neglect your healed piercing to clean the new ones. You should probably keep cleaning the healed one for a bit to prevent infection, good to be safe, you don't want to have to deal with that while taking care of the others. Make sure you focus on each body mod as if it were the only one you needed to tend to, they all need attention.

I don't think it should affect the healing process of you 2nd set anyways.!
