What could could be my tongue has yellow stuff on top?

What is the yellow stuff around my tongue bar? only got it done few days ago?

    i got my tongue pierced 3 weeks ago. the piercer i went to gave me an after care sheet, and it says that the tongue will start to discharge a few days after the piercing is carried out. my tongue only produced discharge for one day, and it went after that. just make sure you're using alcohol free mouthwash 2-3 times a day :) but if it starts producing like loads of yellow stuff, go back to your piercer

It's a build up on plaque where your tongue usually cleans itself on the rook of your mouth but obviously can't because of the piercing... aslong as it's not green or anything you should be fine... just swill after every meal with sea salt and warm water, no fiddling or removing and when you brush your teeth try and brush the plaque off very gently :)
