What causes occasional chest pain?

• Since i was around 12 or 13 I've had chest pain, sort of like a stinging or pinching near my ribs every once in a while when I breathe. It used to happen like once a month or two months and now (14) I get this pain maybe twice a month just randomly when I breath. The pain isn't there when I don't breathe but If i breathe in, it pinches and really hurts in my ribs either on the left or right. It's always one little spot that hurts. I don't know why it happens and I'm healthy and not overweight. I'm actually pretty skinny if that means anything but I'm active and eat healthy. The pain lasts for maybe a minute or less. What causes it?
