Where online can I learn the basics about cameras?

Is it possible for someone to learn the basics of muay thai from videos?

  • I have ten years of experience in a style of karate that focuses heavily on utilizing hip in each technique. I was wondering if it would be possible for someone like me to learn the basics of muay thai from videos. I know nothing replaces formal teaching but unfortunately there are no muay thai gyms in my area. I don't plan on fighting against muay thai fighters or anything I just wanted to learn the basics and improve my stand up to include stronger techniques.

    The very basics I suppose. If you want to do any style then you really need to train with others also doing it. A video will never tell you that you are wrong, and as a result an incorrect action can lead to a bad habit in no time. I would advise training in whatever is local, rather than watching and trying copy videos, to be quite honest with you.

yeah but ul prob end up doing it wrong accidently without realising, the most expierienced fighters get told there doing something wrong quite a bit sometimes at my club

the problem with your dilemma is that you have nobody to evaluate your progress and certify that you've learned anything at all. what you might learn is about the style - it's history, it's contributors, it's current state of affairs. but as you pointed out, nothing replaces formal teaching. so my answer is "no" - it's not possible.
