What do I need to become a Police officer?

  • I want to become a police officer when I get out of high school, and I live in Edmonton, Alberta. What do I need to be able to qualify to be a Police officer? I'm in shape, but school isn't going well at the moment. Do you need to have a high school diploma to become a police officer, or can they accept you without one? I hope all that made sense, if anyone can help, please do :P. Thanks.

To become an officer, it helps to have a clean record. You need to be in shape, because of all the physical requirements. Yes, you need at least a high school education, whether through graduation, GED, etc..... If you want to know more, visit their website. http://www.edmontonpolice.ca/ Good luck!

Actually, a police officer is one of the few professions where lower quality of education is preferred. You really do not need to be in shape, as long as you keep doing poorly in school, have napoleon complex because of your "junks" size, and can only get off by being a dick, then you will fit in perfectly. Good luck

Sorry I can't help. But let me shout some encouragement! :D Don't be corrupt! Don't overexert your authority! Crack down on criminals! Be a good cop! :) I wanna be a cop too. RCMP... maybe. I dunno. Not fit though, so only is a pipe dream hah Anyhow, good luck!
