How do you delete a group?

I want to delete my group but don't have a delete on Management page. How do I delete it?

  • This is an inactive group so I want to just delete it and need help, please.

    I wish I could convince you to not delete your Group. I once was a member in another Group which the "owner" decided to delete. I was very unhappy because I did not save emails from the Group and relied on the archives to be there for me when I needed them. I have since then been avoiding any Groups "owned" by the same person who closed down my Group. If you are not intesrted in continuing to moderate the Group you can always find others who would like to take it over, or simply set Who can post to "no one" to avoid spammers taking over the Group.

If you're the group owner, then you should see the delete tab management- next page right side under group settings you should see Delete Group Delete <-- click Deleting a group will permanently remove it from Yahoo! Groups. If you don't see that, then you're a moderator and wasn't given the privilege to delete the group.
