How do i delete my account?

How can i delete a user account?

  • You know how computers have different accounts for more than one person that uses it. Well I had my own account (password protected) and I had friends once and a while sleep over. So I decided that I should make a friend account so they wouldn't have to bother me for my password. They haven't been over for a long time now so I want to delete it but when i go to my accounts delete it, it doesn't do any thing. And after i click a second time, my computer tells me it is not responding. Can someone please to tell me what to do to delete that extra account so i won't have to reboot and/or delete everything from my laptop even I have nothing important to save?

  • Answer:

Control Panel > Users > Click the user > Delete this account. It will ask you if you want to delete all files and documents attributed with this account. Its completely up to you. if you dont the files will be moved to the public documents folder.
