What nutrients should i be getting as a pregnant woman?

  • okay so i have a dr appt next week but just want to make sure i get a head start.. im a vegetarian so im worried about my normal diet and if it'll be okay for my baby. ive been doing research and ive made a list of nutrients i need to look into.. heres my list so far potassium iron calcium protein folic acid iodine vitamin a, b6, c, d zinc im just wondering if there's any other important nutrients im missing? thank you! :)

    You need to balance the intake of calcium and magnesium. You need half as much magnesium as calcium. When I was pregnant, I took 2000 mg of calcium and 1000 mg of magnesium. I also took 2 mg of folic acid.
