How do you post a picture?

How to post a picture of only yourself looking at the camera as your profile picture on Facebook?

  • I know how to upload the pic, but I didn't know how else to word the question... I meant like, so I have a really pretty picture of me just sitting in front of the computer looking at the camera and smiling, but it makes me look really conceited to just have a picture of me looking at the camera... like if it were at an angle or something it would look better but its not so... do you have any suggestions on how to edit it or add anything to it or change it to make it look cool or creative or not conceited? haha.. like I could add a quote or something.. thank you =) please don't tell me how to upload it i already know that....

  • Answer:

I don't understand your problem. There are gazillions of profile photos on the net. Apart from a few clowns that think they are clever by posting garbage, most of those profile photos are either avatars or a portrait. What is wrong with the photo of a person's face who is looking towards the camera? The answer is : "NOTHING". That is what you are meant to do. Take a bunch of different ones. Try different expressions (but whatever you do....... don't do yet another duck face, please!!!!!) then pick the best one. A pleasant looking face is by far the best profile shot option, there is nothing "conceited" about that. Adding " a quote" does nothing other than make it look silly and messy.
