What is an RTMP URL? And how do I get one?
-
Hello, I'm a big newbie to live streaming and I was wondering what the RTMP URL is? I downloaded and installed Xsplit. I accidently skipped the intro part that tells you everything though. When I wanted to start my live stream as a test, it asked me for URL. I put in the name of the site I would be broadcasting at but it gave me an error saying "RTMP URL is invalid.". What the heck is the RTMP URL? I searched it on google but I coudln't find anything good. Also, how do I get an RTMP URL if I want to broadcast at http://www.twitch.tv/bjpiers ? Thanks if you can help.
