Whats the difference between a New MID 709 4GB Android 2.2 OS 7" Touch Tablet PC and a reg. laptop?

I want something I can still do online classes with and was wondering if that's possible on New MID 709 4GB Android 2.2 OS 7" Touch Tablet PC

I have an MID Android 2.2 and it will do most (but not all) things a laptop will do. You NEED to ignore the built-in browser and install either Opera or Dolphin browser to get anywhere fast though. Amazon has an android app store if Google Play gives you any trouble, too. One thing I have had problems with is there's no way to print anything! Also no Microsoft Office applications to speak of; there's readers, but nothing substantial to edit or create Word docs or Excel sheets that I've come across (yet)
