  • Answer:

Have you ever seen the wiring to the back of the TV, all the DVD, VCR, media centers and cmputers on a proper intall for this? It makes what you have now look like a spec of dust. There are cables to and from everything, but they are generally connected though CAT6 cables which are buried in walls, under floors and anywhere else they can be hidden. Forr a wall mounted TV, there are massive channels behind them going down below or up above to run under floors. And ideally a central point for all the other equipment to go. Normally this is a frame cabinet with heavy ground shielding to prevent interference. If your TV has wireless you may be able to get it to connect to the router, and then on to the media center or anythig else connected to the network. Otherwise for a wired network TV it requires at least one network cable to the router. Other than that to play media eqiment of any kind, you will need remote controls fed back down cables or through wireless links to wherever you put that equipment.
