Problem in installing FIFA 10 for PC.

Is PC monitor responsible for good gaming experience?

  • I like to play games on the PC and I am a big fan of action games like call of duty, medal of honor etc. Besides this I also like racing games like NFS series, TDU etc Recently I installed the latest call of duty (moden warfare 3) and latest NFS (the run). I found that the game was dragging and very slow running, this happened for the first time, I also tried after restarting the pc, I got the same problem. Also tried installing and reinstalling the game but problem continues. My PC is free of viruses I checked it with my norton antivirus after updating it and scanning the PC, so I am sure that viruses are not making my system slow. Also I have got all the latest driver updates installed. I have Win XP professional SP3 with directX 10. My system configuration is... AMD 945 X4 processor (3 Ghz Quad core) 4 GB RAM ATI radeon HD 5770 DDR5 (1 GB graphic card) 1TB of hard disk But I have a very old semi flat CRT monitor of 17" of LG Is it because of this monitor I am facing this problem. Do I need to get a new LCD or LED monitor? Pls answer me if u know. Thanking u in advance

IT IS MOSTLY DEPENDS UPON YOUR GRAPHICS CARD CAPACITY

First of all, DX10 on XP is not possible. It must be a fix to dx9, which has corrupted ur dx files. Also, have u bought these games? because it sounds like the prblem is in the game files. U should try to google it and get some patches/hot fixes for ur games.

I doubt it's the monitor, but how did you get dx10 on xp? Xp is only supposed to be compatible with dx9c so maybe this is where your problem is coming from. You could try reinstalling xp or getting win7 (then you can get dx11). Your pc seems to capable of running cod very well, I'm also certain this isn't the issue.

PC monitor has a little role in smart gaming experience however it depends upon the graphics card whether you get true quality or not. http://www.snappy.in/

It depends the Type of Graphics & also the type of your monitor is LCD or LED

SK Ahamed

it's the graphics card making ur games to run slow Use a high end graphics card atleast nVIDIA geforce GTX 980

For what it's worth: I just played Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare for the first time, without any problems. I happened to notice in the installation instructions that it said "In order for the game to run, Windows users need to install DirectX 9 that is included on the game disc. This is necessary even if DirectX 10 is installed." This game is considerably older than my pc; but regardless of the instructions, it plays just fine using DirectX 11. Plus, my computer has it's graphics built in the motherboard; which is not the best for playing games. Your graphics card is much better than my built in graphics.
