Sony Vegas 8 Audio won't play?

Why does my video play a lot faster when on the timeline but sound is at a normal rate in Sony Vegas?

  • I am trying to make a gaming video in which the actual game I'm recording is covering the whole screen but my face is in a box in the corner. I have used PIP (I think it's called) to do this but when I put the video in the track it plays a lot faster than what it should but the sound is at the rate it should be? I am quite new to Sony Vegas and it is Sony Vegas 11 by the way. I have had a look around but can't see any ways to fix it. So can anyone help me on here? Thanks

  • Answer:

If you mean the video of you on the web cam is faster than the sound, then the issue is frames per second FPS. That happens when you have a cheap web cam and not enough light. If you're talking about the whole video being too fast including game play, then I'd only be guessing.
