How are multiple images stitched?

In Adobe Photoshop CS5 how do I create borders between multiple images?

• I'm relatively new to PS, I have been trying to learn to create album/mixtape/single covers for hip-hop artists. What's the simplest way to take three images, line them up like columns and separate them with borders?   Under "create", photoshop has a CD jacket option, but it's not so great. I've been making lots of invitations and things and I've also struggled with borders. Your best shot would be Google images. lol. You can find photoshop borders there that are already cleared in the center. You can also copy borders from other programs like Microsoft Picture it. But you'll figure it out. Photoshop is all about time. Hope this helps x
