Automatic email program?

Visual Basic program that sends email?

• I am a Visual Basic programmer (still a beginner obviously), and I want to make a program where you enter a name and note into 2 textbox's and it sends them to an email address. I am sure that this can be done as I have seen people make e-mail spammers using the same principle. All I want is a preset email in the code that it sends it to, nothing fancy. I believe it will require an email account of its own so that it can send the email. This is what the 'email spammers' did. I need to send notes quickly to my email for work. And I like making things myself, so please don't recommend one to download. I am not asking for someone to write me the code, just link me to an article, tutorial or anything that will help please. Thanks alot.
